Villa Maria College is proud to announce the start of two new scholarships for BISON Scholars looking to attend college. In recognition of the academic achievements of BISON Scholars graduating from high school, Villa Maria College is providing access to high-quality, Catholic, higher education here in Buffalo.
The Villa Maria College BISON Distinguished Scholar Scholarship is a full tuition, last-dollar scholarship awarded annually to the top BISON scholar attending Villa Maria College. This scholarship is available to one recipient each year.
The Villa Maria College BISON Scholarship – a $2,500 scholarship in addition to merit aid is available to any high school graduate who was a BISON scholar who qualifies for admission at Villa Maria College.

We are excited to share a new and meaningful opportunity for our alumni through a partnership with SUNY Erie Community College.
The Pathways to Prosperity Scholarship is a two-year scholarship program designed to support students as they take the next step into higher education and career pathways. This opportunity is available to graduates and participants of programs like the BISON Children’s Scholarship Fund and several of our community partners.
